About The Retreats

Everdine softly guides you through your own inner workings that teach valuable skills to bring back with you. Honoring sacred space for vulnerabilities and creating a solid foundation and growth from trauma.

Tapping into the sense of self discovery through yoga, breathwork, deep dive journaling, cacao and hape ceremonies, local hiking, cold plunges, body movements to recover from stress and anxiety, and many other unique activities to help you remember who you are.

Classes include teaching about attachment styles for each specific individuals needs to help bring more awareness to self expression and honoring your needs in relationships. Educating you on body reactions and trauma responses and chemical imbalances in the body. Creating space to allow for cummunion and safety of togetherness.

Ceremonial Cacao

Ceremonial cacao is a sacred plant medicine to induce opening up your heart space. It is sourced from Central and South America from a tribe who carefully cares for it. It needs to be grown in the perfect climate and is difficult to maintain. Cacao is where chocolate originates from, yet is sourced ethically and not made for the use of candy. It is bitter and has antioxidants and doesn’t stimulate the nervous system like coffee does. It does have a caffeine component so we utilize this energy for the purpose of healing leaving you feeling open, helping you move through stuck trauma that you may be holding onto. We use the power of intention to ask the medicine permission to help us move through our process. Often these ceremonies are held with a sound bath and/or ecstatic dance.

Journaling Prompts

Journaling Prompts will be established after your intake phone call with Everdine. With effective and gentle communication she asks the purpose for your trip to the retreat. These questions are deep and introspective to help create a tailored experience when you receive your journaling questions upon arrival. Please remember to be as open and vulnerable as you can so she can ensure the value of the guidance you will receive during your stay. Anything you choose to share will be 100% confidential and only you decide if you are willing to share during the group circles.

Ecstatic Dance

The art of ecstatic dance is to create a sense of self expression. Generally it is taught with profound music to help you go deep within yourself. The amazing thing about ecstatic dancing is there really is no wrong way to do it! It is simply to allow us to be vulnerable in shared spaces and work on releasing judgement from others. This helps you tap into those deep emotions that are holding you back and allows for the release to happen organically with body movements in a safe environment.

“I spent 4 days with Everdine on our Trauma Informed Retreat in June 2022. The experience was nothing short of life changing, and I do not say that lightly. Everdine creates a safe space for you to process the things you avoid, voice the feelings you have, and heal. The experience allowed me to move forward and forgive in a way that I didn’t know I could, but knew that I needed to. Truly, this kind of practice & retreat is something that should be available to everyone as a form of healthcare. If you are looking for healing and understanding from someone who is truly on earth to guide, contact Everdine.
